WatchTVPro Ex 4.00 has been released today.

WatchTVPro Ex 4.00

New functions:

• Revised OSD with Direct2D in Windows 7 with animation
• Revised OSD engine with GDIPlus.
• In the options you can now set the OSD (preferred Direct2D od GDIPlus) mode.
• OSD animations can be disabled in the options. If Direct2D runs only in software mode or slow acceleration, the animations are turned off by default.
• Support for analog TV cards (successfully tested with a BT878 card and a Hauppauge PVR 350) and capture equipment (eg analog video inputs on some DVB cards, webcams, etc).
• New channel search for analog TV reception.
• TV / video capture / recording of analog video encoder with selectable encoder filters.
• TV / video capture with MPEG-2 hardware encoder cards (Hauppauge PVR-350 for example)
• In the main menu you can now select the menu item "Select device->Devicelist" to change the currently used device.
• Revised EPG window with a larger font and better picture.
• The DVD functions can now be accessed through the OSD (Play, DVD menus, etc.).
• DVD menus can now be operated with the remote control and/or keyboard.
• The OSD folder dispay screens will generate thumbnails dynamically in Windows Vista / 7.
• WatchTVPro will register file associations: The standard settings won't be modified (Shell context menu "Open with ..").
• WatchTVPro now supports DVD autoplay when a DVD is inserted.
• Among the built-in image viewer Direct2D now uses animations and fading.
• In Windows 7, WatchTVPro creates a library with its recording folder(s).
• In the Windows 7 taskbar, the recently used files are listed.
• Many small visual / technical adjustments and bug fixes.
• Improved stability with Technotrend Premium / Hauppauge Nexus cards.
• For KNC cards the DiSEqC switch should work again now.
• The BDA module now uses BDA DiSEqC standard if supported (Win 7).
• In the device options of the BDA module, you may select the proprietary DiSEqC support provided by your card's manufacturer. Since Windows 7 you can also use the standardized BDA DiSEqC if the driver of your card supports it.
• Small fixes and changes
